The long rumored and oft leaked Nokia Lumia Icon for Verizon is finally official. Its the flagship Windows Phone device on the carrier which offers a 5-inch 1080p display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2 GB RAM and 20 MP PureView camera. The Lumia Icon just like the Lumis 925 is encased in a metallic shell while the back is made of polycarbonate with ceramic keys. There's 32 GB of onboard storage which is not expandable.
The Lumia 929 or Icon is capable of LTE connectivity on Verizon's fast network and uses micro-SIM cards. There's a 2420 mAh battery which should keep things running for atleast a day's use. The Lumia Icon runs Windows Phone 8 with the Black update which features camera and UI enhancements as well as support for Bluetooth LE.
Verizon has priced the Lumia Icon at $199 on a 2-year contract and will be available starting February 20th.
