After taking the wraps of the Lumia 930, Nokia also unveiled the newly minted Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 Windows Phone 8.1 handsets. Both the handsets have a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480 pixels) displays running on a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 512 MB of RAM keeping them quite close to the lower mid-range segment.
Now you might be wondering what's the difference between the two. Well, the Lumia 630 is being targeted to the emerging markets and therefore will come in 3G Single-SIM and Dual-SIM variants. Yes, the first dual-SIM Windows Phone device ever since the support came with WP 8.1. The Lumia 635 on the other hand has 4G LTE support and has a single-SIM card slot.
On the Lumia 630 each card can be separately assigned to work with specific contacts so that you can have one number to call your family and use the other one for work. For that you have two separate phone tiles on the Start Screen giving you a virtual separation between your two numbers.
Both the Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 come with a Sensor Core which use the built-in location and motion trackers to provide fitness data to Bing health and other 3rd party apps through Microsoft's API. That's not all the Lumia 630 and 635 will be launched between May and June 2014.
The Nokia Lumia 630 Single-SIM has been priced at $159 and its dual-SIM counterpart at $169. While the 4G LTE capable Lumia 635 will be available for $189. Both will run Windows Phone 8.1 when available and this price these will be a tremendous success.
