Shots of the yet-to-be-announced Nokia EOS, the supposed successor to the Nokia 808 PureView , has been leaking left and right. So today we've another leak courtesy of the familiar EOS leaks source, ViziLeaks, which shows the Nokia EOS right next to a Lumia 920.
You can see the subtle differences between the two, first up is the positioning of the Nokia logo and the front-facing camera. Now if you look closer, you can see that the display extends a bit more towards the sides leaving very little space for the poly-carbonate frame. Which makes the display look even better, although the image is very grainy. As you can also see in the image above, the Nokia EOS is a bit tilted at an angle from the back, that's due to the camera assembly which protrudes quite a bit from the back, but comparing it to the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, Nokia has made a better task of hiding the bump.
It would be interesting to see the Nokia EOS vs Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom dogfight, once both are available to the public. Nokia has always been a pioneer in camera phones, and with Samsung, soon Sony too joining the bandwagon, it seems that camera phones are going to make a big comeback and in time will get thinner with the same level of performance expected from today's devices.
