Nokia is making a comeback to smartphone, this time with Android on-board. It isn't going to happen anytime soon. But that doesn't mean we can't have a look at what Nokia is working on. Behold the Nokia C1 running Android Lollipop from the looks of it.
Live photos of the Nokia C1 have surfaced online with a similar design to the Nokia N1 Android tablet. Now, the biggest hurdle with Nokia making smartphones is the non-compete with Microsoft, where Nokia can't use its name on any smartphone till 2016. So we might see the Nokia C1 release sometime next year.
The phone looks sleek, could be an all-metal unibody construction here as well. Earlier leaks also suggest that the new Nokia Android smartphone may have a 5-inch 720p display with on-screen buttons running on an Intel Atom processor with 2GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, 8MP rear and 5MP front camera, keeping it within mid-range category, which would be a great place to start again.
