This may be our first look at the HTC made Nexus Sailfish, the smaller 5-inch smartphone running on Android Nougat.
The folks over at Android Police seem to have got some clear shots of the upcoming Nexus 2016. Coming to design you have a chamfered, angular metal frame with a rear fingerprint sensor. The strange thing about the design is the huge glass section you see at the back.
There's no branding on the device, which means this is a very early prototype. There has been talk that Google will be replacing the Nexus branding on their phones with a simple "G" logo. Apart from catching fingerprints, the glass back doesn't seem to offer any particular enhancement. The images above do look a lot similar to the previous leak.
Google is expected to launch two Nexus devices this year dubbed the Sailfish and Marlin.
