Mark your calendars, the next gen Xbox, Xbox 720, Xbox Durango, whatever it is going to be called, is going to be revealed on May 21. Microsoft has begun sending invites to the press, that the event will take place at the Xbox campus in Redmond, Washington at 10 AM.
The invite just states the time and place, without even the name of the next gen Xbox. Although there have been numerous leaks, but no design or specifications of the next Xbox have surfaced. One rumor that no one wants to be true is that the new Xbox will require it to be always online to play games, but we'll have to wait for Microsoft to unveil it.
Another rumor states that an Xbox branded tablet might also be unveiled which will pair up with the new Xbox for screen sharing and may work as a separate controller for home entertainment as well. Let's hope we see the console this time, unlike what Sony did by just showing the controller at its unveiling of the PS4.
