Apple's next fall event will see the launch of new MacBooks, something which hasn't seen a significant refresh since 2012.
According to Recode, Apple is set to schedule an event on October 27 where we will see the new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air notebooks. An update to the iMac may also be in the works along with a rumored 5K standalone display.
There have been rumors and renders of a new MacBook Pro which is said to feature an OLED strip instead of the usual function keys which would dynamically change based on the application being used.
Apple's MacBook line has stood the test of time and have been selling better than rivals even with the decline in the PC market. But a refresh was long overdue, and apart from a fresh new coat of paint, new chips we may see a design as well.
