Motorola has confirmed the launch of the Razr 50 smartphone in India, following the release of the Razr 50 Ultra in July. The company has revealed that this model will feature the largest external display in its segment, measuring 3.6 inches.
Motorola emphasized the phone's durability, noting that the external screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and the device has an IPX8 water resistance rating. The hinge has also been certified for 400,000 folds.
The 3.6-inch FHD+ outer pOLED display offers a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1700 nits. Users can now access Google’s Gemini directly from the external screen of the Razr devices. The phone also includes a desk mode and a vegan leather finish.
For context, the Razr 50 features a 6.9-inch FHD+ internal foldable pOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is the first phone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC, whereas its predecessor used the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. The device is equipped with a 4200mAh battery and supports 30W wired fast charging as well as 15W wireless fast charging.
The phone will be available for purchase on Amazon.in, motorola.com, and in offline stores following its launch.
