Last month Motorola started soak test for the Moto X (2nd Gen) in Brazil and there were reports that the 1st-gen Moto X soak tests for Android 5.1 Lollipop were also going on in France and Germany. Now, there is confirmation from David Schuster of Motorola that the soak tests are being expanded to several countries including India.
Moto X (2nd Gen) Android 5.1 soak test has been expanded to Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Singapore and Sweden. Moto X (1st Gen) Android 5.1 Lollipop soak tests should now be available in Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and United Arab Emirates.
The soak tests will run for 3 days to a week and therefore barring any issues, final roll-out should begin next week.
