Motorola has launched its latest flagship smartphone the Motorola Edge 40 Pro in the Global Market, which is the remake of the Moto X40 that was introduced back in December in China. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ 10-bit OLED screen with SGS double eye protection certification, 165Hz Refresh Rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, and is based on Android 13.
It has a triple rear camera setup where a 50MP primary camera along with 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with the macro option, a 12MP 2X portrait telephoto lens, and a 60MP front-facing punch-hole camera. It has IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. It has ThinkShield, Moto Secure, and Family Space features.
The phone has a sandblasted aluminum middle frame and a matte glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection which provides a silky feel. It is powered by a 4600mAh battery that supports 125W wired fast charging that can charge up to 50% in 7 minutes, and also support 15W wireless charging and 15W reverse charging.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro comes in Interstellar Black and Lunar Blue colors and the price is at an MSRP of €899.99 (US$ 985 / Rs. 80,930 approx.)£799.99 for 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version. It is already rolling out in Europe and UK and it will be available in the selected markets across Latin America in the following weeks, as per the company, but No details about the launch of India.
