Motorola's Connect Coin Bluetooth accessory has just made it to India, it is now available through Snapdeal for Rs. 1299.
This looks like a successor to Motorola's KeyLink accessory which was launched in 2014. Although Connect Coin still carries Motorola's brand name, it now falls under Binatone's purview who purchased their accessory division.
Coming to its functionality, the Motorola Connect Coin pairs with your phone over Bluetooth and once done, you would be able to find your keys or your phone in a cinch. Just press the button on the Connect Coin to locate your phone or use the app on your phone do search for your keys.
There is no GPS tracker on board, instead, it keeps track of your location using the connected app. You can also designate a "Safe Zone" so that you don't get notifications about keeping your keys behind when you are inside your home or office. This works with WiFi on your phone, as soon as your phone is out of reach of the WiFi connection, your phone would alert about the keys you have left behind. Another added functionality that has been added here is the ability to take selfies with a long press of the Connect Coin button.
It also has a LED light to show alerts and notifications along with a buzzer to help you locate your keys. The Motorola Connect Coin Bluetooth Key Finder is available in Black, White, and Blue colors priced at Rs. 1299 on Snapdeal in India. There is no word if it will be launched in other countries.
