Motorola is launching the Moto X Force in India today. If you aren't in the know, the Moto X Force or Droid Turbo 2 as its known in the US, is one of the rare phones with a shatterproof display.
The 5.4-inch Quad-HD plastic-OLED "ShatterShield" display on the Moto X Force was in development for 5 years, and combines current-gen OLED technologies with dual-touch layers as fail-safe. In the US, Motorola is offering 4 years of warranty on display damage, we may expect the same here in India.
Apart from the unique display the Moto X Force packs 2015 flagship specs including Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with 3GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32/64 GB onboard storage running Android 5.1 Lollipop which is upgradable to Marshmallow. Motorola has also packed a 3760 mAh battery here, which supports fast charging along with Wireless charging through both PMA and Qi stations.
At present there is no word on pricing of the Moto X Force in India, but we expect it to be priced north of Rs. 42,000. It will be available on both Flipkart and Amazon.
