Motorola is preparing to launch its upcoming smartphone, the Moto G85, the successor to last year’s Moto G84, which has appeared in new renders shared by @evleaks. These images showcase the device sporting a curved screen in Grey and Green hues, with the latter featuring a vegan leather finish. Previously, the phone was spotted in blue with a similar vegan leather texture.
The phone includes Dolby Atmos but lacks the 3.5mm audio jack present in the g84. It will feature dual rear cameras, including a 50MP main camera and an expected ultra-wide camera.
A recent Geekbench listing shows the phone running Android 14, with 8GB of RAM, and a new chip featuring 2 x 2.3GHz performance cores and 6 x 2.02GHz power-efficient cores, alongside an Adreno 619 GPU. This chip is believed to be the Snapdragon 4 Gen 3, which slightly outperforms the Snapdragon 695 in the Moto G84.
The Moto G85 is anticipated to launch globally, including in India, in June, with more details expected soon.
