Moto G5 Plus surfaced online today at a spanish retailer with complete details on specs and features. The Moto G5 Plus will come with a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and what is being called a "class leading" camera with dual-pixel autofocus.
The design is similar to the leaks we had seen earlier with a front facing fingerprint sensor and an all metal unibody construction similar to the Moto Z series. Another similarity is the round camera module at the back with a 12MP f/2.0 sensor which is said to feature dual-pixel autofocus technology similar to the Galaxy S7. In the front you also get a 5MP camera for selfies. Check out: Moto G5 Plus Detailed Specifications
Running on the inside is the Snapdragon 625 with either 2/3GB RAM with 32/64GB internal storage. The retailer also says that the new Moto will have a water repellant coating to make it resistant to the occassional splash. The Moto G5 Plus will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Moto experiences including double twist to open the camera app and possibly chop twice for the flash.
Powering the smartphone is a 3000 mAh battery which is capable of fast charging with the included turbo charger. All in all the Moto G5 Plus does sound like a complete package, ready to compete with the likes of the Zenfone 3 series and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Motorola is expected to launch a new Moto Z smartphone as well as the Moto G5 series at MWC 2017, where we will know more about its pricing and availability.
