The oft rumored Moto G4 and Moto G / G4 (Plus) are closer to being unveiled on May 17th in India, and we have yet another image of the phone before we actually see the final device. As you can see in the image above, there doesn't seem to be a fingerprint sensor in the front which may mean this is the Moto G (4th Gen.)
Moreover two Motorola phones today visited the FCC with model numbers XT1622 probably the Moto G (4th Gen) and XT1642, the Moto G4 / Moto G (Plus) model. That's not all, a GFXBench listing for the Moto G 2016 also was revealed earlier which showed that a Snapdragon 617 running on the device with 3GB RAM, while until now we have been hearing of a Snapdragon 430 SoC on the new Moto smartphones.
Just to give you a round-up of everything we know, the Moto G 2016 will come in two variants, both with 5.5-inch displays, 3000 mAh battery, 13MP rear camera on Moto G4 and 16MP rear camera on the Moto G4 Plus, dual-tone LED flash, Laser AutoFocus, 5MP front-camera, dual-SIM support with 4G LTE.
