Motorola has launched its latest budget smartphone in the g series the moto g22 in India, as they announced. It has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, and 89.03% screen-to-body ratio, and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It runs on the MediaTek Helio G37 processor with 4GB RAM, which is the first phone in the country to use the processor, as per the company. The phone is based on the latest Android 12, and the company has promised 3 years of security updates.
It has a quad rear camera setup where a 50MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP depth, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP punch-hole front-facing camera. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W charging but comes with a 20W turbo-charger in the box.

The moto g22 comes in Mint Green and Cosmic Black colors, and the price is Rs.10,999 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It will be available from April 13 on Flipkart, but the Mint green color variant will be available soon. The customers also get Rs. 1000 discount with ICICI Bank Credit card on Flipkart between 13th – 14th April, on limited stocks.
