Motorola has unveiled its latest budget smartphone in the G Play series, the Moto G Play 2024, in the United States. Featuring a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, the device is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 SoC, replacing the MediaTek Helio G37 SoC found in the 2023 model. It boasts 4GB of RAM, supplemented by an additional 4GB of virtual RAM, 64GB UFS2.2 storage, and operates on Android 13.
The Moto G Play 2024 sports a single 50MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a robust 5000mAh battery supporting 15W charging. Enhanced security measures include ThinkShield for Mobile, along with features like Moto Unplugged and the latest Moto Secure offerings.

The Moto G Play (2024) will be offered in the attractive Sapphire Blue color and can be purchased unlocked on Amazon.com, Best Buy, and Motorola.com starting February 8, with a suggested retail price of USD 149.99 (approximately Rs. 12,465) for 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version.
Furthermore, it will be accessible through Consumer Cellular, Verizon, Xfinity Mobile, Visible, Cricket, AT&T, UScellular, and Cox Mobile, as well as on Straight Talk, Walmart Family Mobile, Total by Verizon, and Simple Mobile at a later date.
