Motorola just launched its latest flagship 5G smartphone the moto edge X30 at an event in China, as they promised. It has a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED Screen with 144Hz refresh rate, 574Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color, DCI-P3 color space, and supports HDR10+. It is the world's first phone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor with support for 5G SA/NSA, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and works on MYUI 3.0 based on Android 12.
It has a triple rear camera setup where a 50MP primary camera along with a 50MP ultrawide-angle camera with macro option and a 2MP depth sensor. This is the first smartphone that comes with a 60MP punch-hole front-facing camera.
Motorola has made new wireless connection capabilities that let you move your phone’s features to the big screen like you’re right in the room during video calls, and use your apps on a desktop display. The new Ready For PC functionality where you can instantly connect your PC to 5G networks to share files, and use your phone as a webcam on the same screen.
The company has used a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button instead of the under-display fingerprint scanner. The phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides front and back. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower fast charging, which can charge up to 50% battery in 13 minutes.

The Moto edge X30 is available now for pre-order from today only in China and the customers will get a 200 yuan discount when it is available for the first time on December 15th.
