Update - Today, Motorola has posted an official press image of the moto x30, which shows that the phone will come in two color variants, one of them in gradient finish. The Lenovo GM also posted in their weibo account that the company has used a new process for making the M bat mark of the moto on the back panel and the rear panel has 8-layer nano-optical finish.
Earlier - Last month, the Motorola edge X30 renders and the specifications surfaced online. Recently, Motorola also confirmed its latest flagship smartphone the Moto edge X30 5G that will be launched on December 9th in China with the new flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Today, the company has confirmed the camera specifications of the phone after revealing more details about the phone in the past few days.
The moto edge X30 will feature a triple rear camera setup where a 50-megapixel primary camera along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and has a 60-megapixel punch-hole front-facing camera. According to the earlier rumors, it will use a 50MP OV50A sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor, and a new 2MP OV02B1B sensor. The company also said that the phone will support 4K video recording for the front camera and should support 8K recording for the rear camera.
The company already confirmed the phone will be powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging and shows the retail box of the phone with the tagline "World first smartphone with new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip".
Recently, Lenovo China GM Chen Jin has posted an image of the phone that shows the front panel with high brightness and display quality. If we see the earlier reports, the phone will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and could be up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
We should know more details and the exact price of the phone when it goes officially launched on December 9th, before it will available from December 15th in China. Other rumors revealed that the phone will launch globally as moto edge 30 Ultra in January 2022.
