So folks, this is the first look at the Moto E, Motorola's ultra cheap handset coming to India and the rest of the world on May 13th. Flipkart is again the exclusive partner to sell the Moto E in India. From the image above you can see the resemblance it has with the Moto G. The speakergrill can be seen in the front jst below the display, which is a welcome sight. But there's no LED flash and there doesn't seem to be a front-facing camera as well.
Earlier today live image of the white Moto E surfaced online next to the Moto G, which clearly shows the design profile of both phones. The Moto E will come in a dual-SIM variant in India dubbed the XT1022. It is expected to feature a 4.3-inch display, dual-core processor, 5 MP camera without flash and a front-facing speaker. There will be a 1900 mAh battery in there as well and the Moto E will run Android KitKat right out of the box.
You will also get colorful back-panels for the Moto E as well, which means that the back will be removable just like the Moto G but nothing has been specified about the battery.
Moto E is expected to be priced around Rs. 9000 in India from Flipkart exclusively and might just be the kick this segment needs. But there is still some speculation about the final specs, we would have to wait for Motorola's launch event on May 13th to finally know what we have here.
