Micromax today launched the Canvas Nitro A310 powered by the 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali-450 GPU with 2 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM which is expandable running Android 4.4 KitKat for Rs. 12,990. There's a 13 MP auto-focus rear camera with flash, Sony IMX135 CMOS sensor, Largan 5P Lens and a 5 MP front-facing unit. The 5-inch HD (720x1280 Pixels) IPS display on the A310 has a oleophobic layer which prevents fingerprints on the display.
The Canvas Nitro A310 too comes with the Camerazzi camera features which include Stable Shot, Refocus among other features. It too has a leather-like plastic back-cover which we saw on the Canvas Elanza 2. Software features include Smart Alerts, Gestures, a new lockscreen called BlinkScreen and Quicklook homescreen with widgets for weather, Facebook and Twitter feeds. Previously Micromax had launched the Canvas Knight Cameo, again with an octa-core SoC, 4.7-inch HD display but with 1 GB RAM and 8 MP camera. With this launch Micromax had made the Canvas Knight Cameo obsolete. We unboxed the device recently.
Connectivity options include 3G dual-SIM support, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, GPS as well as USB OTG. A 2500mAh battery powers the innards. The Canvas Nitro A310 is now available on Snapdeal in blue and white colors for Rs. 12,990 and will be dispatched in 1 business day.
