Micromax has been running an online campaign on its Facebook page to promote the upcoming Canvas Doodle 2 A240, and the phone has now been listed on Flipkart. The new Canvas Doodle 2 features a 5.7-inches HD(1280x 720 pixels) IPS display, with a quad-core processor and 1GB RAM.
The Micromax Doodle 2 A240 also has a 12-megapixels primary camera with LED flash, alongwith a 5-megapixels front-facing camera. There's a 2600 mAh battery running the show, which is rated at 8 hours talk time officially. Apart from that you also get 12GB of internal storage, and a capacitive stylus. This time around as well it seems that the stylus is a separate entity and does not fit in the smartphone.
Micromax had a trio of hits with the Canvas 2, Canvas HD and then the Canvas Doodle. It updated the other two with the Canvas 2 Plus and the Canvas 4, so is the Canvas Doodle 2 going to be the companies new hit or is it going to fizzle out like the Canvas 4? You can find out right here.
