Last week we broke the news that the Micromax Canvas Blaze MT500 dual-SIM CDMA+GSM smartphone was available online and that Micromax had partnered with MTS to make this smartphone. Well, its official now. The Canvas Blaze has been launched in partnership with MTS for Rs. 10,999 which gets you a 5-inch display, 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with EVDO and GSM modem running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with 768MB RAM.
If cameras are important to you then the Canvas Blaze features a 8MP Auto Focus primary camera with LED flash alongwith a 0.3MP VGA front-facing camera. There's a 1850mAh battery that keeps the phone running. What's unique about the phone is that it support both GSM and CDMA networks. 3G EVDO is supported on the CDMA SIM slot, while the GSM SIM supports 2G Networks. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS with aGPS support.
