Micromax has begun its onslaught on mid-range devices with the Canvas A200 which comes with a 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 pixels HD display with Gorilla Glass 2 protection, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM. Just last week Micromax launched the Canvas 2.2 A114, which we unboxed for you, and did the benchmarks alongwith a gaming review, where it performed brilliantly well.
The Micromax A200 features the same specifications as the Canvas 2.2 A114, including the 8MP primary camera with LED flash but the front-camera on the Canvas A200 has been bumped to 5MP. MMXNewscaster, also says that the phone will be just 7.9mm thick, which is quite slim considering the quad-core internals of the phone. At present we just have the front image of the Canvas 200 which is quite similar to the rest of the phones in the Canvas series.
