LG is all set to launch its next flagship, the LG G3, on May 27th. The event will be hosted in San Francisco, New York and London simultaneously , while Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul will be host to the LG G3 on May 28th. The teaser simply reads "To be simple is to be Great", a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson stating the new flatter UI design and build of the smartphone.
Even the design of the new G3 is being kept under wraps but the leaked image above shows razor thin display bezels and the new dual-LED flash at the back alongwith a peculiar new addition flanking the left of the camera. You have your usual power button and volume rocker set-up at the back. By usual, I mean for LG.
Although specifications are still unclear as to what will be on the final retail version of the LG G3, but according to rumors the G3 will have a 5.5-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels, Quad HD) display running on the Snapdragon 801 2.5 GHz quad-core chipset with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM, 16 MP primary camera with OIS+, 2.1 MP front camera, 16/32 GB of internal storage expandable upto 64 GB alongwith 4G LTE connectivity. If that's a a lot to take it, it will also run the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat with LG's new/improved Optimus UI on top.
