Lenovo Vibe X3 went official in China yesterday and it would be available in 3 variants. The Vibe X3 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, two variants run on the Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor while the third variant runs on MediaTek processor.

The MediaTek powered device will be called the Vibe X3 Youth. But the main focus here is on the audio capabilities of the devices. All three variants will come with Texas Instruments OPA1612 amplifiers, Cirrus Logic WM8281 codec for noise cancellation and Dolby Atmos.

Moreover the Lenovo Vibe X3 also comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back, just below the camera module. The Snapdragon 808 variants of the Vibe X3 come with 3GB RAM, and a choice of 32GB  or 64GB storage. They also have a 23MP rear camera which uses Sony's IMX230 sensor with phase-detection autofocus, 4K recording alongwith 8MP front-facing camera. Both these variants also pack a rather large 3600 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support.

The Vibe X3 Youth apart from running on a MediaTek chipset, also comes with lesser RAM and storage at 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage. It has a 16MP rear camera alongwith a 5MP front-camera and a smaller 3400 mAh battery. There is a design difference here as well, the Vibe X3 Youth has the LED flash on the right of the camera module, while the other variants have it at the bottom.

Coming to the pricing of the three variants, the Lenovo Vibe X3 with 32GB storage is priced at CNY 2,499 (about Rs. 26,000) and 64GB variant at CNY 2,999 (about Rs. 31,000.) The Lenovo Vibe X3 Youth has been priced at CNY 1,899 (about Rs. 19,600.) At present there is no word as to if or when these would make it out of China.
