Lenovo Phab has is now available in India rocking a 6.98-inch HD display running on the Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage.
It was announced at IFA, but only its bigger brother the Phab Plus made it to India. This one too packs a massive 4250 mAh battery and comes with 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras. At just 720p resolution for the massive 6.98-inch display, you are looking at about 210 PPI which isn't very spectacular but would probably wouldn't look too pixelated. Then you also have an IPS panel, so you can enjoy watching videos on it without worrying about viewing angles.
Coming to the design a bit, the Lenovo Phab has a metal frame which is rounded and the back is non-removable. There's no denying that this phab-let is not going to fit in your pocket, its more like a tablet with support for voice calls and data. There is no camera hump to speak off and you also have a LED flash at the back. Moreover, Lenovo has also packed Dolby Digital support for better sound fidelity.
There's support for 4G LTE onboard as well on both TDD LTE (40) and FDD LTE (3) bands in India. But you have a hybrid SIM card slot on the Phab Plus, meaning you can either use two SIM cards or expand that 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card. There's support for USB OTG though.
Lenovo Phab: Pricing and Availability
The Phab is available from Flipkart exclusively at the moment and has been priced at Rs. 11999 and it will be available through flash sales, registrations for which is already open.
