It was just a few weeks earlier that Lenovo launched their K8 Note to grab the sub 15K market. Given the popularity of stock Android, they decided to kill VibeUI as well. Speculation has been ripe that the K8 Note wasn't the only K series device the company was working on, in fact there were a couple more that had been leaked on benchmarking websites.
One being the Lenovo K8 Plus which is launching soon in India and another the K8 Note Lite. Lenovo India has officially confirmed the news on Twitter. Moreover, Flipkart announced that it is going to get unveiled on September 6 as an exclusive on their e-commerce platform.

The company hasn’t published any details on the hardware specification of the smartphone yet. However, the K8 Note bears a dual rear camera setup, which we anticipate on the upcoming device as well. A social media teaser posted by Lenovo shows the bokeh effect in action, which strengthens our expectation. The teaser was removed soon after though.
The teaser posted on Twitter also clearly shows a dedicated media button on the left side of the phone along with a single slot for SIM and microSD card, the K8 Note has two slots there. The Lenovo K8 Plus too will run on stock Android Nougat and is expected to be in line to upgraded to Android Oreo sometime in the future.
Going by what we found on GeekBench, the Lenovo K8 Plus will have an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor, clocked at 1.7 GHz coupled with 3 GB of RAM. The internal storage is expected to be at least 32 GB. You should take all these speculations with a pinch of salt given the company hasn’t officially announced any of them.
We will be keeping a keen lookout on the upcoming K8 Plus and L8 Note Lite from Lenovo, both of which will arrive in India in September.
