Lenovo has begun sending out invites for a launch event in Delhi. The invite says "Save the Date, 7 April 2015" with a background of Dolby Atmos Theatre, hinting at the launch of the Lenovo A7000 which features Dolby Atmos surround sound technology.
Lenovo would sure like to capitalize on the success of the A6000, and the time is ripe for the launch of an even better product, the Lenovo A7000 which would go head to head with the Redmi Note 4G and YU Yureka.
Lenovo A7000 was shown-off at MWC 2015 packing a 5.5-inch HD display, octa-core MediaTek MT6572M 64-bit processor running Android 5.0 Lollipop with 2 GB RAM, 8 GB expandable storage and a 2900 mAh Battery. The A7000 also comes with a 8 MP autofocus rear camera, 5 MP front camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPA and FM Radio.
I assume all three color options, Onyx Black, Laser Yellow and Pearl White for the Lenovo A7000 will be available in India as well. Pricing should be below Rs. 10,000. We will know more at the event.
