LeEco is hosting an event tomorrow in Mumbai, India where the company is expected to reveal its plans for developing an Ecosystem in India.
The company has already started posting teasers about the "Supertainment" event on its social media platforms and it will be streamed live on their Facebook page. LeEco has been making strides in India and has recently also filed an application with FIPB to open retail stores in the country, where customers can experience their products.
There have been several rumors that LeEco may also launch its line of 4K SuperTVs in India and that does sit well with the theme of the event. Moreover, we may also see announcements on live video, TV for Le smartphones in India. The Le 1s has recently been updated with LeVidi app which houses content from various Indian TV channels, YouTube spanning several genres.
These are some of the results of the partnership of the company with Eros Now and YuppTV, which are going to be solidified this year. LeEco also has plans to release its VR Headsets in India, the company has a few offerings on that front including a standalone headset with its own display and another which uses your phone's display like GearVR or Google Cardboard.
