LeEco will start selling the Le 1s in offline retail stores in India. The phone will be sold through retailers in Mumbai and Delhi.
With the impending launch of the Le 2 and Le Max 2 tomorrow, LeEco is focusing on getting a hold on the offline market as well. Coming back to the LeEco Le1s, it offers great value for money and by tapping into the retail channel, apart from just sales, the company will also see better brand recognition and penetration in the market.
LeEco has already sold over 500,000 smartphones in just 100 days in India and has made considerable progress to develop its ecosystem in India. All LeEco smartphones in India now have access to Live streaming TV, over 2000 movies on Eros Now and music streaming is on the way with LeEco Membership.
The company already has 555 service centers in India and its solidifying its network with 24x7 toll-free support. With its offline retail model, LeEco plans to cover 70% of the retail stores across India by September 2016.
