LeEco today launched its Le 2 and Le Max 2 smartphones in India running on Snapdragon processors and Android Marshmallow. The Le 2 runs on the Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor with 4 powerful Cortex-A72 cores and 4 Cortex A53 cores for everyday tasks. You can read more about the Le 2 in our Hands-on Impressions.
You have 3GB RAM on the device and a choice of either 32/64GB internal storage (only 32GB variant for now in India) which is non-expandable. The Le 2 is a dual-SIM device and you have two nano-SIM slots both of which support 4G LTE. On the back is a 16MP camera with a f/2.0 wide aperture lens and phase-detection auto-focus. There is an 8MP front-facing camera here as well.

LeEco has gone with its tried and tested unibody metal construction for the Le 2 which means that its 3000 mAh battery is non-removable but it does support fast charging. Then there's CDLA or Continual Digital Lossless Audio which allows for audio output through the USB Type-C port. Being a completely digital interface, there is no added distortion from the DAC and Amplifier of your smartphone, therefore you get the purest sound out of it. The company will pack a USB Type-C to 3.5mm jack dongle within the box.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. You also have a fingerprint sensor at the back with a mirror finish just like the Le 1s.
Pricing and Availability
The LeEco Le 2 has been priced at Rs. 11,999 for the 32GB storage variant. It comes in rose gold color and we will update with availability.
