LeEco is expected to launch two devices on its September 21st event. First one is the LeEco Le Pro 3 which is supposed to be first smartphone to feature 8GB RAM. It is also expected to come with a 5.7-inch Quad-HD (2560x1440 pixels) display protected by 2.5D curved glass running on the Snapdragon 821 SoC with a massive 256GB of inbuilt storage. It would have a 13MP dual camera setup at the back while the front gets a 16MP shooter for selfies. Keeping all this powered is a 5000 mAh battery.
Another variant of the LeEco Le Pro 3 is expected to be a bit more tamed down with a 5.5-inch 1080p display again with 2.5D curved glass running on the same Snapdragon 821 chipset with 'just' 6GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. It would also ditch the dual camera setup for a more conventional 16MP rear camera and 8Mp front shooter. To keep the lights on a 4070 mAh battery is expected here.
Now, we have an image of the LeEco Le Pro 3 which surfaced online earlier today. It shows the second model with 5.5-inch display. Just to complete the spec round-up, both will also come with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor under the camera module similar to previous-gen LeEco smartphones. Although there is no confirmation on pricing, the Le Pro 3 with dual cameras is expected to carry a price tag of around $500 (Rs. 33,500) while the normal Le Pro 3 with 5.5-inch display may carry a price tag of around $350 (Rs. 23500) - $400 (Rs. 26,800).
Earlier, the LeEco Le 2s (Le-X652) with dual camera setup had also appeared online running on a deca-core Helio X25 processor with 3GB RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, 13MP dual rear cameras and 8Mp front facing camera. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display and 3000 mAh battery to keep the baby quiet. But at present there is no word on whether it is going to launch at the same event or not.
Given recent leaks, we are bound to know more about these devices before the official unveiling on September 21st.
