The Moto X is yet to be announced but rumors surrounding some of its unique features have begun percolating. Now we have a video showing its various features, and some of the features are really unique. The video is a Rogers ad, for their network in Canada.
Here's are some of the new features we see in the video:
- Open Mic: Always-on mic for voice commands, like Google Glass (The girl in the video invoked Google Now by saying Okay Google Now). It also works in stand-by.
- Active Updates: The screen lights up to show the clock and notification icon.
- Camera can be launched by twisting your wrist twice, weird gesture.
- No shutter key in camera app, just tap anywhere to take a photo or tap longer to take several shots at once.
- Moto X is expected to launch in Canada this August in Black and White
- LTE connectivity onboard
- There's a SIM card slot, so the battery might be non-removable.
But are these features enough to keep Motorola, the new Google Company to stay afloat? Well, that's the question on everybody's mind.
