Lava has launched its latest smartphone under ‘Made in India’ the Lava Z1, Z2, Z4, and Z6 all with military-grade certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front side. According to the company, it said that the Z1 is the world’s first phone ‘Designed In India’ with features a 5-inch FWVGA screen, runs on the quad-core MediaTek Helio A20 processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage and has 5MP front and rear cameras with LED flash and a 3100mAh battery.
The Lava Z2 has a 6.51-inch HD+ screen, runs on MediaTek Helio G35 processor with 2GB of RAM, 32GB storage, and has a dual rear camera setup where a 13MP primary camera along with a 2MP depth sensor and an 8 MP front-facing camera both with LED flash and is powered by a 5000mAh battery.
The Lava Z4 and Z6 have almost similar specifications as the Z2 but come with a triple rear camera setup where a 13MP primary camera along with 5MP ultra-wide lens, 2 MP depth sensor, and the front side has a 16 MP front-facing camera, and has 4GB or 6GB RAM option with 64GB storage.

The Lava Z1 comes in Blue and Red colors and the price is Rs.5,499 and will be available from January 26th on Amazon.in, Lavamobiles.com, and offline stores. While the Lava Z2, Z4, and Z6 also come in Blue and Red colors and the prices are Rs.6,999, Rs. 8,999 and Rs.9,999 respectively, and will be available from January 11th on Amazon.in, Lavamobiles.com, and offline stores.
myZ Program -
Lava also launched the myZ program where you can build your own phone. This keeps the 6.5-inch HD display, Helio G35 SoC, and 5000mAh battery in all models while you can only choose RAM, storage, rear cameras, front cameras, and color of the phone on lavamobiles.com from January 11th and will soon be available from retail stores offline. The cost of the phone will be depending on your choice and the top-end spec price will be Rs. 10,699.
Lava has also launched a Zup program that lets you upgrade the RAM and storage version of Z2, Z4, Z6, and myZ anytime within the first year of purchase by paying a nominal cost instead of paying the full amount.
