Lava Iris 505 is now available online, featuring a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with a 5-inch display running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and 512 MB RAM. There's a 2000 mAh battery running the show here which according to Lava will give a 6 hours talktime on 2G and 4.5 hours on 3G.. Apart from that the Iris 505 features a 5 megapixel primary camera with single LED flash, panorama and 99 continuous shots as well face/smile detection, while there's also a VGA front facing camera with Gesture recognition like the more expensive Lava Iris 504q which was recently launched amid good reviews.

There's 4GB of internal storage which if not plenty can always be expanded upto 32GB using a microSD card.
