Lava has launched its first curved display 5G smartphone in the Agni series the Lava Agni 2 5G in India. It has a 6.78-inch FHD+ dual curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 2.3mm bottom bezel, a screen-to-body ratio of 93.65%, and first time uses the In-display fingerprint sensor.
It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and is based on Android 13 with 2 Android updates and 3 years of security updates. The phone comes with 3rd Gen 2900mm² Vapour Chamber cooling technology and X-Axis Linear Motor Haptics. It has a 50MP Quad Camera that comes with the segment's first 1.0-micron (1um) pixel sensor, which captures more light and richer details, as per the company.
It is powered by a 4700mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging, which can charge up to 50% in 16 minutes, which is the fastest in the segment, as per the company.

The Lava Agni 2 5G comes with a matte finish Viridian color with double reinforced glass protection, and the price is Rs. 21,999 for 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version. It will be available from May 24th on Amazon India, and the customers will get a Flat discount of Rs. 2000 on all major credit & debit cards.
The company also offers Agni Mitra service offering Free Replacement at Home for Agni 2 users. With this industry-first approach, during the warranty period, the phone will be replaced in any scenario of hardware issues. Each customer will be supported with a dedicated personal ‘Agni Mitra’ to resolve their issues on priority.
