Jio's AI Initiatives -

Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, underscored AI as the forthcoming frontier for Jio back in August of the preceding year. He outlined intentions to establish up to 2,000 MW of AI-ready computing capacity across cloud and edge locations.

The collaboration with NVIDIA, unveiled in September 2023, aimed at constructing cloud-based AI compute infrastructure leveraging NVIDIA's advanced GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip and Nvidia DGX Cloud, a cloud-based AI supercomputing service.

The infrastructure, domiciled in AI-ready computing clan centers, is poised to scale up to 2,000 MW, with Jio overseeing execution and implementation.

During the unveiling of the JioBrain AI Platform, Senior Vice President (SVP) Aayush Bhatnagar of Jio stated, "We welcome collaboration with like-minded AI/ML researchers to generate value and expand the Jio Brain innovation ecosystem."
