iQOO has launched the Z9 Turbo Long Battery Life Edition in China, as part of its Z9 series, as they promised. This version offers several enhancements over the standard model. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K TCL C8 display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM. It also includes an independent graphics chip Turbo and a 6043mm² canopy VC liquid cooling system, similar to the standard version.
In terms of camera, the 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and IP64 dust and splash resistance are carried over from the standard version. However, the Z9 Turbo comes with a larger 6400mAh battery (up from 6000mAh in the standard model) without increasing the thickness, and the phone’s weight only increases slightly to 196g.
Additional features include 7.5W reverse charging, and the company claims that the battery will maintain ≥80% health even after 1600 full charge cycles. The phone also boasts an upgraded Turbo independent display chip and dual-frequency GPS for improved navigation.
