Update - iQOO has officially announced the release of the Z9 Turbo smartphone in China, scheduled for April 24th.
Earlier - iQOO officially announced that its upcoming Z9 series smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and is set for an April launch. Additionally, the company has now revealed that the specific model will be the Z9 Turbo, showcasing an image of the device featuring dual rear cameras and a curved design reminiscent of the iQOO 12.
Jia Jingdong, vice president of Vivo, disclosed that the iQOO Z9 Turbo will boast a unique "independent graphics chip Turbo" and incorporate 6K VC heat dissipation, a feature he claims is unparalleled in its category. He asserted that the iQOO Z9 Turbo will set new standards for gaming performance within its price segment, ensuring that the entire iQOO Z9 series meets expectations across the board.
Furthermore, iQOO has confirmed a substantial 6000mAh battery capacity for the phone. According to leaks by Digital Chat Station, the device is expected to sport a 1.5K 144Hz OLED flat screen and maintain a slim profile of just 7.98mm.
The iQOO Z9 Turbo is slated for unveiling later this month, with further details anticipated to emerge in the upcoming days.
