iQOO has officially confirmed the launch of its latest smartphone in the Z8 series the iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x in China on August 31st, after rumours and benchmark listings. The teaser image shows the Z8 with features dual rear cameras, OIS, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an infrared sensor.

While the appearance of the iQOO Z8x remains undisclosed, online listings have verified the presence of a substantial 6000mAh battery in the phone. According to benchmark leaks, the device will be driven by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, a notable upgrade from the Snapdragon 695 SoC used in the Z7x. The listing has also unveiled 8GB of RAM and the presence of Android 13.
According to the rumors, the phone is expected to feature an FHD+ 120Hz LCD screen, and recent 3C certification has indicated support for 44W fast charging for this device.
