Update - iQOO has officially announced that the Neo9 Pro smartphone will be launched in India on February 22nd.
Earlier - iQOO has officially announced the upcoming launch of the Neo9 Pro in India, scheduled for February. Recently introduced in China as the iQOO Neo9, this smartphone will serve as the successor to the iQOO Neo7 Pro, which debuted in the country last year at an attractive price of Rs. 34,999.
The company has provided a glimpse of the Neo9 Pro's features, highlighting its dual-tone design, premium vegan leather finish, distinctive squircle camera, and the upgraded Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, surpassing the Neo7 Pro's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It's anticipated that the standard glass back version will also be released simultaneously, featuring a sleek matte finish.
As a quick recap, the phone boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz LTPO AMOLED screen with 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, a peak brightness of 1400 nits, and 6K Canopy VC liquid cooling spanning an area of 6043mm². Equipped with a Sony IMX920 VCS sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP front camera, the device houses a 5160mAh dual-cell battery supporting 120W fast charging, capable of charging from 1% to 40% in just 9 minutes.
The iQOO Neo9 Pro will be available for purchase on Amazon India, following the same pattern as other iQOO smartphones.
