Update - Today, iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Neo 5 5G will be launched on March 16th, and the teaser also confirms a center punch-hole display and Samsung FHD+ E3 Super AMOLED screen quality.
Earlier - Vivo’s iQOO is planning to introduce its next smartphone the iQOO Neo 5 5G, which will be the successor of Neo 3 5G that was launched last year. According to a Chinese blogger, the phone will come with Samsung FHD+ E3 Super AMOLED punch-hole display, a 120Hz refresh rate with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 870 processor with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
It also revealed a triple rear camera setup where a 48MP Sony IMX598 primary camera along with 13MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth/macro sensor, and on the front side has a 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX471 sensor and come with stereo speakers. The phone will come with a 4400mAh battery or more and supports 66W/88W Super Flash Charge 3.0 fast charging.
The iQOO Neo 5 5G is expected to be announced first in China in mid-March 2021.
