iQOO has officially announced that the iQOO 12 series will be launched on November 7th, incorporating the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Today, the company shared images displaying the phone's design, which also disclosed some camera specifications.
The white variant exhibits BMW Motorsport branding with three distinctive stripes. iQOO also verified that the device will be equipped with their first in-house developed Q1 gaming chip. The phone will operate on OriginOS 4, which is scheduled for unveiling by vivo on November 1st.
A zoomed-in view highlights a triple rear camera setup, including a periscope telephoto lens, and the label '100x tele lens.' Adjacent to the camera, the text specifies an ultra-sensing aperture ranging from f/1.68 to f/2.57, with a focal length of 15-70.
The device will boast a primary camera of 1/1.3-inch dimensions, incorporating OIS, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto periscope lens. Once again, iQOO has partnered with Zeiss for this venture. Previous rumors hinted at a 50MP OV50H OIS primary camera, a 50MP JN1 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64MP OV64B OIS telephoto camera.
The red variant will flaunt a textured leather finish with a flat metal frame, while the white version will feature BMW branding and the black version will have a fluorite AG glass finish.
Expect the phone to sport a Samsung AMOLED screen with a 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. According to the renowned leaker Digital Chat Station, the device will be available in various configurations, including 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB.
