Following the recent disclosure of its design, iQOO has officially announced the display specifications for the upcoming iQOO 12 smartphone, scheduled for launch in China tomorrow. The iQOO 12 will boast a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED screen, delivering a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits and supporting 2160Hz PWM dimming. Notably, according to the leaker Digital Chat Station, the phone will not incorporate a display from BOE.

The device will incorporate a 1/1.3-inch main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. It is rumored to be equipped with a 50MP Omnivision OV50H primary camera, along with a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP Omnivision OV64B 3x periscope telephoto camera.

The teaser has confirmed that the iQOO 12 will be equipped with a flat-screen, while the iQOO 12 Pro will sport a curved screen. Both models will be available in a white legend version, a black track version, and a red version with a leather-like finish.

Additionally, the iQOO 12 series will carry IP68 ratings, ensuring dust and water resistance. The company has already confirmed the utilization of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for the phone, marking it as the second device to adopt this flagship SoC, following the Xiaomi 14 series.
