Infinix has confirmed the launch of its next smartphone in the Smart series, the Infinix Smart 8 HD on December 8, after the launch of Smart 8 early this month. This information is provided by the Indian division of Infinix, which has also unveiled images showcasing the design and color choices of the Smart 8 HD.
The Infinix Smart 8 HD will be offered in Crystal Green, Shiny Gold, Timber Black, and Galaxy White variations. It will feature a camera island on the back in a squircle shape, accommodating two cameras and a circular flash.
The Smart 8 HD boasts flat frames and houses the power button and volume rocker on the right side, while the SIM card slot is on the left. Infinix asserts that the "Smart 8 HD promises a significant shift in the budget smartphone landscape" and will include "several enhancements compared to its predecessor."
While Infinix has not disclosed the detailed specifications of the Smart 8 HD, the company has confirmed a 6.6-inch HD+ Sunlight Readable punch-hole display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The smartphone will incorporate a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a USB-C port, and utilize UFS 2.2 storage.
