Last day, the Indian Government has announced to banned 59 Chinese mobile apps that it says are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, the security of the state, and public order.
After a few hours the announcement by the Government, TikTok, Helo, and more apps have been removed from the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. Today, TikTok gives a statement said that "it continues to comply with all data privacy and security requirements under Indian law and has not shared any user data with any foreign government, including the Chinese Government. It has been invited to meet with concerned government stakeholders for an opportunity to respond and submit their clarifications."

The Ministry of Information Technology has said that it has received many complaints from various sources and several reports about the misuse of some mobile apps which are available on Android and iOS platforms for stealing and surreptitiously transmitting user's data to unauthorized manner servers that have locations outside India.
