HUAWEI has finally launched its first foldable flip phone the HUAWEI P50 Pocket at an event in China, as they promised. It has a 6.9-inch foldable flexible screen with a 21: 9 screen ratio, 1.07 billion colors, and P3 wide color gamut, and supports up to 120 Hz screen refresh rate. The company says that it uses innovative nano-optical film and the screen is not reflectivity to let you see clearly. The screen also supports 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
There is a small 1.04-inch AMOLED external circular screen where you can check text messages, schedules, and other information. You can also use it to answer calls, take quick selfies, and perform various operations such as music control and walk navigation with one touch.
The Company uses a multi-dimensional hinge reinforced with innovative materials that fold to fit seamlessly and unfold without any sign of creasing, instantly transforming from pocket size to top-of-the-line full-screen smartphone, according to the HUAWEI.
Coming to the cameras, It has a triple rear camera setup where a 40MP primary camera along with a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and has a 32 MP Ultra Spectrum Camera with a 10-Channel Multi-Spectrum Sensor, an Ultra Spectrum illuminator, and an AF Laser. HUAWEI said that lets you capture the beauty in the dark and can illuminate the vibrancy and sharpness in any shot with Ultra Spectrum Camera Matrix.
The Ultra Spectrum camera lens also offers a Sunscreen Detection feature that can check whether your face is properly covered up to help you better protect your skin. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 888 4G processor with up to 12GB of RAM, 512GB storage, and is based on HarmonyOS 2 in China, and Android-based EMUI 12 in Global. It is powered by a 4000mAh battery that supports 40W Huawei Super Fast charging.

The Huawei P50 Pocket comes in Obsidian Black color with a shiny mirror texture, White with premium shimmer on micro-glass, and has a 3D micro-sculpture design. The HUAWEI P50 Pocket Premium Edition, in collaboration with Haute Couture designer Iris Van Herpen, offers organically flowing patterns in a stunning gold-tone.
