HUAWEI has just launched its latest flip-style foldable smartphone in the Nova series, the Nova Flip in China, as announced. Positioned in the mid-premium segment, it features a youthful "matrix collection" design with vibrant colors aimed at a young audience.
The Nova Flip is lightweight at just 195g and has a thickness of 6.88mm. It utilizes HUAWEI's proprietary water drop hinge mechanism to minimize the gap when folded. The company boasts a Switzerland SGS certification for a durability rating of 1.2 million bends.
The device sports a 2.14-inch OLED outer screen and a 6.94-inch Full HD+ LTPO inner screen, operates on HarmonyOS 4.2, and is equipped with a 50MP RYYB main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 32MP front camera, and a 4400mAh battery with 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge technology.
HUAWEI has also integrated HarmonyOS AI Fun into the Nova Flip, allowing users to enjoy the outer screen in various entertaining ways. Features include animations during calls, pet animations, DIY wallpapers, and interactive themes for mini-games. Additionally, users can perform quick actions on popular apps, take photos, and more using the outer screen.
