HUAWEI also launched its new flagship Smart tablet the HUAWEI MatePad 12.6″ at its event in China along with the HUAWEI Watch 3 series. It has a 12.6-inch WQXGA OLED display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio, the professional-grade color accuracy level of ΔE<0.5,6 wide DCI-P3 color gamut, and a high contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, comes with a hardware-level low blue light eye protection solution with TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display 2.0 certification.
It runs on the latest Octa-Core Kirin 9000E processor with 8GB RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and works on the latest HarmonyOS 2 with widgets, folders, and information boxes, using Super Service Widgets. You can also connect it with a mouse and keyboard, edit videos on the go, and much more similar to the PC-like experience for the most extreme of tasks, as per the company.
It has a triple rear camera setup where a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera along with 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2MP 3D depth-sensing camera, and an 8-megapixel punch-hole front-facing camera. It features eight speakers with HUAWEI Histen 7.0 Sound Effect and has 4 microphones. It is powered by a 10,050mAh battery that supports 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge fast charging, and 27W wireless charging, as well as 10W reverse wireless charging.
HUAWEI also announced its 2nd generation M-Pencil that has a transparent tip design with platinum-coated nib, and rounded hexagonal shape, which make it comfortable for use. It is equipped with 4096 Levels of Pressure Sensitivity and also supports tilt writing and has 9ms latency. It attachable to the tablet magnetically to pair and charge wirelessly where it will last for 10 hours after a full charge.

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.6″ comes in Matte Grey color with a matte finish that gives a delicate touch and Olive Green with a vegan leather rear finish. It will be available from June 11th in China and the pre-order has started from today.

HUAWEI also launched the new MatePad Pro 10.8 with Snapdragon 870 processor, which is the successor of MatePad Pro 2020 with Kirin 990 SoC that was launch last year. This also works on the latest HarmonyOS 2.0 compared to Android.
